BOYSTOWN series author Jake Biondi has announced that Monday, July 7, 2014 will be the official release date for BOYSTOWN Season Two. The highly-anticipated book is the second in Biondi’s BOYSTOWN series.
“I am so excited to announce the release of BOYSTOWN Season Two,” Biondi said. “Season One has been immensely successful and fans from all over the country have been emailing me to know when the sequel would be released. Well, their wait is finally over.”
The BOYSTOWN series began as an online book released in installments, each ending with a cliffhanger. Last November, the first ten “episodes” were published book form as BOYSTOWN Season One. Ending in spectacular cliffhanger, BOYSTOWN Season One left the lives of several main characters in peril. Readers were left wondering who would survive and what would happen next. Now, BOYSTOWN Season Two will answer readers’ questions and, of course, provide even more twists and turns for its readers.
Biondi added, “BOYSTOWN fans are the best. I am so humbled by and grateful for my readers and their positive response to the book. I regularly receive notes from fans who are connecting with the characters and want to know what the future holds for them.”
Biondi promises that readers won’t be disappointed. “Season Two picks up with the aftermath of the warehouse shootings. While I won’t reveal who lives and who dies, I will say this: lives will be forever changed.” Biondi also previews that BOYSTOWN Season Two continues the storylines from the first book while introducing new ones -- and some hot new characters, too!
Over the next few weeks leading up to July 7, Biondi will be releasing some “sneak peeks” of BOYSTOWN Season Two on his website, www.JakeBiondi.com. He hopes these excerpts will get readers excited about the sequel.
Like the first book, BOYSTOWN Season Two will be available at bookstores across the country (Unabridged Bookstore in Chicago) as well at online at amazon.com and bn.com. Readers may also order the book directly from Biondi’s website: www.JakeBiondi.com
Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, Jake Biondi fell in love with "The Windy City" at an early age. He left the Chicago area for four years to attend the University of Notre Dame and, upon graduation, returned to Chicago. He has been living in Chicago's Boystown neighborhood for over 20 years.
